In Memory Jane Louise Brown
1950 - 2006 On February 23rd 2006 Jane Brown, co-founder and Principal of The School of ICASA, passed away to the other side of Life. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000 and all who knew her were inspired by the cheerful and brave way in which she bore that physical condition. She was a remarkable woman of extraordinary beauty, extraordinary courage and extraordinary grace. In honour of Jane's life and work The School of ICASA is to create a new Charity later this year which will be known as the Happy Dream Project. This Charity will work alongside The School of ICASA and will be primarily focused on making available sexual and spiritual healing through continued programmes of Surrogate Partner Therapy for women or men who are facing cancer or physical disability as a result of cancer. The Happy Dream Project will particularly be concerned with helping people who have undergone a body altering surgery as a result of cancer such as mastectomy or prostectomy to rediscover their inherent wholeness, beauty and sexuality. There will be no set fees charged for therapy offered by the Happy Dream Project and there will be a variety of ways in which people may support the work. Watch this page for further news and updates as the formation of this work develops. |
